1. Why is Hopkins still fighting? According to his own admission, it's to unify all the World Title Belts. He began that process tonight.

2. If he wants to unify that means that he has to fight Adonis Stevenson - the Real Champion of 175, which now seems pretty likely since Stevenson joined showtime (ducking Kovalev in the process, but that's his business not B-Hop's).

3. Embrace what is happening and stop whining about a 50 year old fighting bad opponents. The only reason he fought his previous opponent was so he can keep his IBF Title in order to unify it with the WBA. And prior to that, all of his opponents were top 10 at 175 (Chad Dawson, Tavoris Cloud are top Light-Heavy's).

Thank you Loaded, I just don't think some realize how smart and great Hopkins actually Is. We will certainly never see a fighter of his caliber In our lifetimes again.

Yes, there are other great fighters out there, but none that are fighting guys 20 years younger than they are and making It look easy, as Hopkins does.

He's undoubtedly juicing (anyone who doesn't think so it is deluded) but you don't think Jones, Toney, Morales etc have tried juicing? If juicing was that potent, it would work for everyone. The fact is what B-Hop is doing IS remarkable (though no more Shumenovs and Mu**** please)

I don't think he is juicing, though I wouldn't a have a problem with it as I have stated several times that PED's should be legalized in professional sports.

It's simple really. Some fighters burn the candle on both ends. Jean Pascal works hard in the gym and looks the part being all ripped, but he is also a party boy/Nightlife kind of guy. Hopkins' PED is getting that proper rest by going to sleep at 9pm and not staying out late.

That and a clean diet with 365 fitness and that's all you need. He hasn't shown any unnatural abilities. He doesn't throw a 1000 punches per round, he doesn't look ripped (he barely has AB's these days), and his punching power is almost non-existent. There is no basis for saying that he is on PED's other then that he is still here.
