Rampage Jackson: "I don’t think boxers should even be called fighters."

Speaking of talking s**t, I saw you had a back-and-forth online with James Toney. What was that about?

Man, after Mo I want to fight Toney next. Actually, I want to fight him in his own sport. I want to face him in a boxing match, and then come back to MMA. We already saw he sucks at MMA, so I’ll beat him at his own sport to shut his ass up. I don’t think boxers should even be called fighters. Just call them boxers, because they don’t have the skills of real fighters like mixed martial artists.

    Thoughts?

    Dude is a f**king full metal ******.

Yeah spending half of your sport hugging on the ground and doing **** in the octagon that I seen on Karate Kid...fighting. Lmfao. Look seriously even though I think MMA is whack as f**k, whatever, I got respect for what they do. But for this motherf**ker to say that boxing ain't fighting, GTFO.

I normally like MMA and respect their sport, but what is up with these disgruntled UFC "stars" coming out of the woodwork and dissing boxing lately? Jon Jones said something similar not too long ago, Ronda Rousey thinks she can destroy Mayweather and now Jackson idiotically thinks boxing isn't real "fighting." Are they bitter they make slave wages compared to most top level boxers and their organization is on the decline?

It would be an interesting question, who makes more Floyd Mayweather in an average night, or all UFC fighters combined for say 6 months.

Rampage was good back in the day but dude is essentially fighting in the minor leagues of MMA, at least get back to the big league if you want to run your mouth~

Ronda Rousey would OB-LIT-ER-ATE Floyd Mayweather in MMA, and that's just common sense. She would absolutely end him. It would take maybe 40 seconds.

Its because mma has lost its momentum and is becoming less relevant while boxing is still holding strong.

They just come out and bash boxing but they secretly know that mma has gone real bad..... like having women on as the main event for ppv.

By that logic you can't consider MMA athletes fighters either. Martial arts were created to level the playing field with weapons. That's the entire point of grappling. Submit your opponent into a position where you can stab his face with a dagger or break one of his limbs so he can't continue.

Someone run at Rampage with a sword and show him what's up.
