This is the same guy who complained about his opponents not being able to stood toe-to-toe and exchange punches with him after they frustrated him with kicks and takedown, and at one point wanted to be a boxer.

Yeah, it's a pretty ignorant comment and one that many people actually make when the whole Boxing VS MMA debate comes up. MMA (as practiced in the UFC) is just as much a sport as boxing is. I mean, how can it not be a sport when there's rules & regulations, timed rounds and a damn ref standing right there? Furthermore, there's also many moves they're not allowed to use that many people could actually exercise during one on one combat (stomps, soccer kicks, headbutts, ect).

Imagine Rampage in with a 22 year old James Toney, boxing gloves and boxing ruels

Or Rampage being punched in the head with 1,000+lbs of pressure for 45 minutes and still throwing punches back. He simply wouldn't.

          That's fighting.

They're all just sports. Obviously if you tried to box like Floyd or Paulie in a street fight you'd get clowned, but MMA wouldn't do much better. You know all those rules in MMA where once it goes to the ground you aren't allowed to touch the eyes, break small joints, knee each other in the groin? Yeah those don't exist in a fight.

One is "closer" to an actual fight but they're both just sports.

I never said she wouldn't in MMA rules now did I? It's honestly just a moronic and attention-whorish comment to make, it's not even worth the time or effort to entertain the dumb notion. Completely different sports. It's like Serena Williams saying she'd destroy Colin Kaepernick on a game of tennis.

Now imagine them in an actual fight. Rampage would just pick him up and drop him on his head.

Well Rampage is kind of known as a dumbass regardless of MMAvsBoxing. The guy went on a police chase driving a promotional lifted truck with his name and faced painted on the side.

She was on a radio show and was asked what her strategy would be if she fought Mayweather. It's not like she just decided to brag that she could beat Mayweather. She was asked by the radio host what her strategy would be, and when he asked her if she would win, she said yes. And that's definitely what would happen.
