Estimates are not sure things guaranteed purses are, but if they actually negotiated it out that would have been a fair point from Manny's side to make sure he got to take advantage if that situation took place. Floyd probably would have been accommodating in such a request because Manny if he gets a flat fee has no skin in the game to promote the fight he would be set, and for the fight to reach it's potential Manny would need to help promote it.

Just came from another thread where even Floyd fans are saying that the $40 mill offer was a joke. How can you even defend it is beyond comprehension.

I think it was fair because back then I did the numbers and 60/40 was not totally out there based on the numbers floating around and the biggest fight ever (at that point) had the fighters splitting roughly 80 million so them splitting 100 million would be pretty damn good, now he could obviously get a better deal that being the opening offer so I wouldn't call it good but for what it was it was a fair starting point.

that's the whole point of random testing to keep fighters clean they have a list of things they can take and not take if manny was on something on that usada list then i can see why he walked away from 50/50.

So why does Floyd insist on using Usada, which is more expensive and never prevented a cheat from entering the ring.
