Health comes first, floyd has been avoiding a roach stable since the oscar fight, and he knows roach has some key points on beating him.

Floyd had Roger in his corner but now he has his father. Cotto gets beat again but this time he lands nothing significant. Roach is training Cotto and this is nothing special considering Roach is a strictly offensive minded trainer. Roach is the type of trainer if he thinks he sees a fighter slipping he wants to capitalize on it. He did it with Marquez the 3rd time when they thought he didn't belong at 147 and look what happened. Also they're doing it with Sergio. Martinez is going to smash Cotto into bits. Roach reacts when he sees dents in armor but he has been wrong alot. No way Cotto beats Mayweather.

Exactly, only Floyd hardcore fans and Cotto haters don't want the fight. Floyd hardcore fans know deep inside that King Cotto has a real chance against him (much better than any other "real" possible) and that will be a competitive fight.

Cotto haters don't want it since it will elevate Miguel over their "compatriots" and they will not acknowledge any credit to the King!

Not sure how anyone can believe that a second fight with Mayweather will go any better than the first for Miguel. Particularly if Roach has him come at Mayweather more aggressively.
