Canelo vs. Lara: Post Fight Discussion Thread

not many cared about that fight here, but i dont need reviews cuz i watched the fight my self, did you?
if you watched the fight and you dont think it was a robbery then is a shame, angulo was fighting a smaller guy who wasnt even that good and he looked shot as hell... and by the way by the time canelo fought vazquez canelo was much younger (teen) and smaller than he is now, vazquez even had height and reach advantage...

And I don't give a **** about the Vazquez fight. He was young back then too.

Context is very important. We're talking about the same Trout Canelo and Golden Boy brought out to San Antonio in order to give themselves an advantage.

For the record, both Trout and Angulo think that Lara is the more talented fighter.

that fight could have taken place at Las Cruces and canelo was going to be the home fighter, not a city on the world where trout has an advantage over canelo...

On the topic of Angulo-Silva, I thought it was a close fight but not a robbery. Imo Angulo edged it. Silva looked very good early and hurt Angulo. Angulo looked really slow early on. But silva was the smaller, less experienced man and wasn't able to win a battle of attrition. Slowly Angulo wore him down and beat the 20 year old. I'll be honest with you. I don't think Silva was the same after that fight. Angulo isn't the type of guy you face at that age.
