      as for the thread,

floyd only has himself to blame. you cant shamelessly craft a slick marketing campaign to be the bad guy so you can get paid and then hate the fact that people hate the bad guy.

i know a lot of flowmoes didnt finish high school like their idol floyd, but come on now, stop asking ****** questions.
I understand what you're trying to say but there's an issue with it:

There is a clear difference between hating someone and being a hater.

      For example:
I hate the Miami Heat because Wade, Bosh & Lebron joined forces and I hope they lose. (not a hater)

The Miami Heat are not one of the greatest teams ever because they needed 3 top players to win, Lebron sucks he couldn't even win without Wade. (hater)

When you discredit someone's accomplishments or talent because of a personal grudge/feelings you delve into the realm of being a hater.

Only name in boxing he needs to fight is Manny, which will solidify his place in boxing history.
Again, I don't have what it takes to discredit anyone. I just feel that he could have fought more like PRIME COTTO, MARGARITO, PAUL WILLIAMS, MOSLEY AND OF COURSE, PRIME PACQUIAO.

Plus fighting once a year is really too-few as of recently.

His too-profit centric is really bugging the heck out of me but it doesn't take away my admiration with his superlative skills. I am a boxing fan and I love both Mayweather and Pacquiao.

So I will not get into the personality thing too much other than him "not having the heart" to fight more and prove more.

Floyd is a great fighter. In twenty years time he's not going to be considered as good as he is now.
As much as the Floyd fans want to blame Manny and Bob Arum for the biggest fight of this era not being made, the vast majority of people interested in boxing will rightfully blame Floyd. Add that to the villainous persona he's cultivated in and out of the ring, his jail time, and the fact that most of his fights have very little entertainment value, only hardcore Floyd fans and Floyd himself will be praising him as the best ever. Most people will mention duck.
He's always going to be remembered as a great fighter, but Manny's fights are going to be watched over and over. Floyd's highlights are going to be have to be spliced together while Manny's fight will be shown in their entirety.
Floyd will be 50 years old talking about the biggest PPV events ever, and when people watch those fights they will say MEH.
Just ask yourself, in 20 years time and you wanted to make someone a fan of boxing, would you tell them to sit down and watch Floyd's fights?
I wouldn't. I'd tell them to watch Ali, Tyson, Manny, Foreman, Gatti, and a bunch of others before I got to Floyd. I would say Floyd was great, but he couldn't really hurt people because he had bad hands, but his defense was amazing, and he easily outpointed most people.

Please include Sergio Martinez at 154. Sergio called out Floyd for like 5 years but no response from Floyd. Now looking back at who he fought, the excuses brought up back then are now factually just an excuse to duck Sergio.

Most people respect Floyd's skills as a boxer but you dont know what you are talking about when you mention his resume.

You said that Oscar, Cotto and Canelo were prime when he fought them and they werent.

Pac's resume is better then Floyd's and do you even know who Duran fought?

In a decade or 2 Floyd will be remembered as a great defensive technician but he decided to not fight the best and took too many convenient holidays/retirements to duck fighters.
