He has fought fighters such as Prime Oscar, Cotto, Castillo, Corrales, Marquez, Canelo and now Maidana. Its hard to like his personality but his resume speaks for itself and Of course he has ducked many fighters but that doesn't mean his past resume goes to garbage. I am pretty sure to be able to become a top P4P fighter in the world. You have to face top legit fighters . How many times have you seen him get knocked down and being a boxer myself it is extremely hard to do what he does which is to outsmart, outskill and protect yourself the whole 36 minutes. The ring is a small place. We should respect a fighter especially If he is undefeated.
Hes a great talent but didnt care of his legacy. He cautiously picked his opponents and that is what he will be remembered for.

Favored means who we expect to win.

What do we base those expectations on?

We base them primarily on how good we believe the fighters to be.

Now until posters start giving me names, it seems like Floyd is the only welter we believe is so good that he can cherry pick the best Jr Middles.

            Thats respect.

              Is this a joke?

What gave you the impression that my question included retired boxers?

Why did you even stop there, why not add SRL, SRR, Hearns, Duran, Whitaker...?

Well, it was a silly question to begin with. Why is a fighter's ability or inability to beat Canelo the benchmark for greatness? Pacquiao probably wouldn't have done as well against Canelo because, naturally, he is significantly smaller than Floyd. Would Bradley beat Canelo? Who knows.

I won't go so far as to call him a coward but your reasoning is backward. A fighter who has fear, and ducks fighters as a result, is less likely to be defeated.
