Why do so many posters on here hate on Floyd. I have been seeing threads where Pacquiao, Duran and even Chavez ranked ahead of him. Everyone knows that mayweather has a better resume than all these fighters. I am not a fan of Floyd style at all but If you appreciate talent and hardwork then you should jump on the wagon . He has fought fighters such as Prime Oscar, Cotto, Castillo, Corrales, Marquez, Canelo and now Maidana. Its hard to like his personality but his resume speaks for itself and Of course he has ducked many fighters but that doesn't mean his past resume goes to garbage. I am pretty sure to be able to become a top P4P fighter in the world. You have to face top legit fighters . How many times have you seen him get knocked down and being a boxer myself it is extremely hard to do what he does which is to outsmart, outskill and protect yourself the whole 36 minutes.The ring is a small place. We should respect a fighter especially If he is undefeated.

it all really depends on how long you have been watching the sport. i dont like mayweather for many reasons. There are many great fights we didnt get to see because floyd himself knew the risk that was involved. avoiding, retiring beatin the weakest opposition can only take you so far. people are forced to belive what floyd wants you to belive.

You have to explain this better. Leonard didn't make $30 million in 1980 to fight Duran. He made $9 million. But if you adjust that for inflation (I didn't do the math), then maybe it's $30 million at today's standard? Is that what you were trying to say?
