Why Canelo vs Lara is a bad idea.

I never said I wanted to see Ishe vs Lara. I said I wanted to see Floyd vs Lara. I think Canelo can fight Lara any time. Screw Ishe. I think he is a stepping stone to a Floyd fight.

I wasn't exactly coming at u, just making my point on the situation. I too wanted Lara Floyd at jr mw but I knew it wouldn't go down. So this is the best fight for Lara outside of that 1.

This is one triangle theory that will make people understand the true meaning of "styles make fights." Canelo is a strong talent with very good hands and piston speed and power but he's severely flatfooted. He does not go inside, does not collapse, does not apply pressure. He stays perpetually on the outside - disturbingly even when it's in his better interest to jump on his opponent.

Additionally, Canelo does not throw in high volume and is selective about his punching though he does have a varied arsenal and can unload beautifully with every punch in the book when he's given the opportunity.

Again though, and most importantly; he's just the opposite about how he likes to control real estate.

Angulo performed well against Lara because he is a high volume punching, come forward attacker with good power.

I'll save the bandwith going to details about why Lara will likely perform well. It should be pretty self explanatory.

This is Lara's fight to win. Team Canelo are friggin idiots IMO but I greatly admire them for taking this challenge.

I'm kinda with you on this one. I just don't get the TS' point - like, this fight shouldn't happen because it might effect a possible future Lara - FMJ matchup? This is a good fight for me (and way better then Lara - Ishe) let's just see it made.
