I think you need to read the post instead of the title. I didnt say not ONE thing about two top guys in their primes. Your always saying unintelligent things. Start thinking before you speak so you people wont start looking at you like its something wrong with you.Comment

Lara fights NOTHING like Rigo. Rigo is very very crafty, slick, can do multiple defensive techniques. Steps to the side, steps back, counters. Lara simply runs backwards, relying solely on RANGE, and doesnt move his head. He doesnt have the I.Q. to do all of the head movements of Rigo. Thats why he was getting clipped by Perro, because he's just running backwards, using only range, not moving his head much, and Perro is slow AF. Canelo is WAAAY stronger, better, and faster than him. Imagine Rigo fighting a Perro type of fighter, it would be razzle and dazzle. Lara is a somewhat slick fighter, while Rigo is a defensive specialist.Last edited by MurkaMan; 04-07-2014, 11:02 PM.Comment

It shouldnt, but the thing is Floyd NOW knows that people want to see that fight, and Lara wont have to come off of a big win to face Floyd. He is proven enough, unlike Khan. Floyd will just need the first respectable foe he can get, and Lara would have beaten his fighter. Remember when Floyd said he would fight Khan if he beat Jesse Vargas? Hey anything is possible.Comment

I read your post,, but your a troll, and still don't understand why it's a bad matchup for either guy... Both have legit chances to win, and it's a career defining type fight... Both have a lot more to gain than lose by taking the fightComment

And you know this how?Floyd didnt even notice Lara, until he signed to fight Marcos because everyone was sayng,"Why dont you fight Lara?". That, and plus Ishe Smith wanted to fight Lara so it also forced Floyd to learn about the guy. He mentioned Lara at the Madaina presser, and it was the first time he really acknowledged him.
Yall know I dont do the biased shiet; "Aww he always knew who he was, he was pretending to not know his name." Stop it, he still dont even know Canelo or Ghost's names. Still mispronounces their names at times, and is forgetful about both fighters.
But this is my point, with Ishe fighting him it will create this situation where not only does he NOW blatantly know who Lara is, KNOWS that its the fight people will want to see, but after Lara beats Ishe, Floyd will have this incentive to go out and avenge Ishe. I seriously think this is a possibility.
And if so, GREAAAAT!!
Here is the problem, even tho Lara uses movement and boxes similar to Floyd, he is NOT Floyd and I have a hard time believing that he is going to beat Canelo easy. Floyd is able to stand in the pocket and walk Canelo's big azz down without even being grazed, breaking a sweat, or even changing his facial expression. As if it were effortless which is amazing. But Lara will be breathing hard, barely avoiding great pressure, lacking the skills and technique to make Canelo respect his power. Floyd is smaller than Lara, but Lara may be TOO small for Canelo.
I think that fight will make Lara look like a ww fighting in the wrong weight class. Not saying who I think will win or lose because I dont want to provoke any of you. BUT Canelo aint big and slow like Perro. He is huge and fast af. Might be too durable for Lara's technique. Yea Canelo aint a pressure fighter but hotdamnit he put on some GREAT pressure against Perro in a few in those rounds.
If Lara beats Canelo, it will be a BIG fight for Floyd and a sensible one. But man Canelo may be waaaay too big for him and may crush his skull.
I hope Lara doesnt sign anything until AFTER he beats Ishe. Cuz at that point, Floyd really wont have any real foes at ww. He should really make a permanent move to 54 where other fighter's size will compensate for his great skill advantage. Please no biased trolls yall know Im really not built for it. Just talk some honest boxing.Comment
