WHAT?? I said time and time again that Lacy would EASILY TKO Reid. I'll find links to prove it and then report you to a moderator to be banned.

You would not believe how many UK fightfans picked Reid to "expose" Lacy.

I also don't have the time to dig up all the threads and responses before and after the fight.
Well, all I can say to that is they must not have been paying attention to Reid's fight preparation or lack thereof for the Lacy fight.

I'm a UK fight fan, and I thought Reid would be more competitive than he was, until I found that he was training by a hotel pool, and hadn't done any sparring at all in preparation for the fight.

What can I say, some people are just blindly patriotic.

BTW, the referee for the Lacy - Reid fight was one of the worst I have seen outside of a Sven Ottke fight, lol.

        LOL.

        Good luck.

Send BPP a transcript or show him everything I've typed that would constitute banned material.

He will deny all of it. I'm going nowhere.

Reid must be getting on abit now, he must be mid-30's? He was at his best something like 8 or 9 years ago. Whereas Lacy's best days are ahead of him. I think Calzaghe-Lacy will be a good fight though

Lacy no problem, Reid is so washed up now, a shadow of the guy who edged Henry Wharton!!

The Reid of eight or nine years ago beats Lacy easily, but time has moved on.

I totally agree that Reid on his very best day would have beaten Lacy.

Lacy won that fight fair and square but he was DEFINITELY hurt from that punch and wobbled briefly. I don't care what he said to his corner... I know guys that have been knocked OUT standing up and talked to people like it was nothing.. one guy got knocked out and SWORE a few minutes later that he didnt. Lacy was wobbled but he came back nicely.

The Sheika fight was definitely Lacy's worst performance to date but he still won. And that is all that matters. He traded punch for punch with Sheika and his chin held up. Sheika's...not so much. A good solid win for Lacy, who was making the first defense of his title against very good opposition. Trust me, the Lacy that fought Williams, Reid, and Pemberton in 2005 is not the same as the guy who fought Vanderpool and Sheika.
