Honestly, Joe is washed up to pieces. If Joe fought the Sheika of 2000 now (who was a very good fighter back then), he would definately lose.

Sure, the Sheika of 2004 wasn't half the fighter he was in 2000.. but, neither was the Calzaghe of 2004.

If that clip was longer you'd see when they clinched a seconds later & Lacy looks at Dan Birmingham & says I'm fine. That punch didn't hurt him but it caught him off guard & surprised him.

That right hand Sheika threw was wild, unpredictable, and a pure haymaker.

If he landed that exact punch on Calzone...He'd have been out cold.
