Paulie: Pac not a good or smart fighter...

That being said, I wouldn't call him ****** either. He clearly understands enough to set up his shots and land them, even against smart fighters like Marquez who have gone 40 rounds with him.
It's charming that people think Mayweather and Hopkins are such geniuses. They're geniuses alright. I'll tell you where Pacquiao is ******; he doesn't hand pick his opposition. He doesn't make careful selection of his opponents. He takes on all styles - even styles that are terrible for him.

Plus second half the the Cotto fight Manny didn't look good as Cotto changed up his plan moving away, Barrera in the second fight made Manny look meh especially compared to the first fight, JMM don't need to say more, Mosley over matched but Manny couldn't really do much, Clottey same thing as Mosley, Bradley made him look very meh.
He comes on same way every time and does not approach things in a way that make things easier on himself, just because he has the ability to put the square peg through the round hole doesn't make him smart it just make him an excellent fighter who is very good at what he does.

pac wouldn't be as successful if he employed a smarter or a more calculated approach to his game. he's a short fighter who used speed and explosiveness to overwhelm his opponents. he didn't give his opponents time to think and execute their game plan. if pac was a thinker he would've to give that up and try to outsmart his opponents instead.
