I mis read this thread, I clicked on it, expecting to hear Hatton say how rubbish an opponent Collazo is for khan, and Collazo isn't the very good fighter he fought way back when.

What "tools" does Khan have outside of insane handspeed for roughly 4 rounds??

Leopard handspeed ,footwork, movement, Decent Power, Big heart.. you can't doubt on his boxing abilities, you can however say that his defence is crap or lacks ring Iq,smartness whatever.

Funny you should say that. I noticed the same thing when watching Khan's latest videos. It could be that Hunter is subdued due to his present run of luck. Hutner had Ward from young but he is an exceptional talent that was brought along step by step. That requires a completely different approach than taking on fighters late in their career with ingrained habits.
Khan has been inactive and not shown any significant improvement in his last fights so it is unreasonable to expect a big change in this next fight.
This fight is shaping up like a perfect storm. Khan has no recent form to key into, he is on a bad run. He pulled out of the Alexander fight (an easier fight for him than Collazo IMO with a title to gain and less downside if he were to lose.) putting all his eggs in the Mayweather fight basket only to get played along and watch him select an opponent he beat years ago. Then he signs up to fight a tricky good opponent on the Mayweather undercard. Add to it that he is about to become a father and the inevitable changes in priorities that come with it . He has a lot going against him.
IMO the policy of waiting for Mayweather may well be his undoing. He bailed out of the Alexander fight and could have had a title and would have his career on track and other options rather than waiting for Mayweather. As it is it looks like he has been forced to take a fight that does not suit him just to keep the Mayweather dream alive. If he loses that dream becomes a nightmare. Hunter must feel the pressure also after his bad run. It really is starting to look $h1t or bust make or break time for both of them.

khan has no chance of winning, collazo has speed, power and a decent defense. khan's hand speed will give way by the mid rounds and his excessive clinches won't save that glass chin.

I think that Amir Khan is his own worst enemy at times. His lack of emotional maturity in the ring really hurts him. He can't seem stick to a discipline game plan. He loves to brawl and **** but lacks the power and durability in order to do so. In addition, he often blames others for his mistakes; Mainly his trainers. For example, in the Danny Garcia loss; The game plan was for to him to go out and try to out box Swift but what did he do? He went out there to KO Danny by being overly reckless and foolhardy and was subsequently TKO because of it. Afterwards, did he take any responsibility for it? No, he later chose to blame Freddie Roach in a very personal manner instead.

But yet he thinks Khan would "give Mayweather trouble".

Between all the fights he's had, the booze and the ******* use, 'Attons brain is fried.
