Whereas I agree Khan changing trainers shows that he understood he had some defensive flaws, the problem is, Virgill Hunter is not a good fit for him. Khan has looked terrible in his last two outings, lost in trying to find himself. I can see he's in two minds, something he never was before. Yes that cost him the Garcia fight but he should have stayed with Roach and cleaned up his act, rather than blaming the man who had bought him to the big game.

I would give the Roach version of Khan a massive chance of beating Collazo but now, with him trying to pull off a cheap Lewis impersonation (out stretched arms to keep punches off him), I think Collazo will eventually time him and stop him.

I hope I'm wrong, I hope Ricky is wrong, Amir is a good fighter and a good kid. I've known him since his am days and I wish him all the best but I can't see him coming through this. It's a terrible state of matchmaking by his team, they should have pushed for a Broner fight, if that wasn't to be, surely they could have looked for a lighter touch at welterweight.

A long lay off, a new weight division, a poor trainer and a dangerous opponent can only mean disaster.

This + being given the run around by Mayweather and then suffer the irony of watching him fight a fighter that Khan has already beaten, while cast in the supporting act can only mess with his mind. Add to it that he is going to be a father for the first time and the changes in priorities which come with that and you have the ingredients of a perfect storm. At the back of his mind he must have huge regrets not fighting Alexander which in many ways was an easier fight with less to lose and more to gain.
This obsession with fighting Mayweather may be his undoing. It is $h1t or bust time and Collazo has the capabilaties to turn his Mayweather dream into a nightmare.

It would be like me saying you look like a complete faaggot in your avatar but that was probably the exact look you were going for so it wouldn't be an insult.

Yeh and you people wont be able to use the "then he had no Robert Garcia doe" excuse for Maidana as you do for his previous losses. They'll feed him to Thurman and then game over.

So you trying to troll or whatever it is you're doing now kinda falls flat on its face like most of the points you've made in this thread.
                      I concur.
