    Alexanders out there, don't see him taking it.

    Ideally Porter beats Pauli and then Brook (Which what I think will happen) then then fights Thurman, winners get's Floyd.

    It makes sense for Floyd to go after that belt.

    His last fight could be somehow working out a deal with whoever has the belt in TR. (WBO)
    Yeah I agree and hope Porter wins, the winner of that fight would be seen as the 'legit' or 'real' welterweight contender, it would be great if things unfolded like that. I assume Floyd negotiated the deal to end after his 49th fight so he could 'retire' and milk a 'record-breaking' comeback fight for all its worth.

      I'm aware of this and understand the reasons, and explained why this fight wouldn't happen but Thurman's profile has only gotten bigger so maybe it could be possible in the future.

        I don't see him losing to either Pauli or Brook to be honest.

        Here's what I expect;

        Garcia in September

        Winner of that mix in May

        Maybe whoever has the WBO in 2015 (Depending who it is obviously)

        Only way I see that route going different is if Cotto beats Martinez.

          Also depends on Guerrero's contract situation. He tried to jump ship to Top Rank except Top Rank didn't want him, and he was in court with Golden Boy, so I'm sure they are not happy with Guerrero right now.

                  possibly next year but not next.
                  Floyd only fights mexican fighters on mexican independence day. JMM, Ortiz (mexican american with Canelo headlining his own card in Staples center the same night on the same PPV) and Canelo.

                      Not next, maybe in about 3 or 4 fights. Thurman will never get a shot, especially with Floyd on his way out.

                      I see him taking no risks.
