If he can get someone like Guererro, Alexander or ideally a title holder, then that will be a good fight.

Problem is, say Floyd beats Maidana, he'll have two of the belts, the other one will be the Pacquaio-Bradley winner and the other one will be the Porter-Pauli winner who is mandated to fight Brook in July.

So basically, it's impossible for him to get a belt at this point in his next fight after Diaz.

Hopefully he can fight the winner of the Pauli/Porter/Brook mix, if he wins that then maybe he could fight Floyd next May perhaps?
Ideally a Guerrero fight would be best for him, if he could knock him out a lot of fans would call for a Floyd fight. Then again taking a Thurman fight wouldn't be a good idea for Guerrero especially coming of a loss and inactivity.

      Yeah I agree.

Thurman could perhaps fight Maidana if Floyd beats him? Don't see him taking that fight either though, Maidana.

I think Porter would fight him if he beats both Pauli and Brook.

He's gonna need at least 2 wins over top level (B and above) opponents for him to be credible for me.

For Thurman I feel developing his profile is as important as developing his skills before he fights Floyd.

On paper he actually poses as decent a challenge to Money-May right now, almost as much as any fighter out there, the problem is that him being announced as Mayweather's opponent would be met with such widespread public apathy from everyone outside of the hardcore fans it really just doesn't make any sense. Proclaiming the age old excuse that "the fight won't make no money!" is genuinely appropriate here.

The words of ****** Biddy Man they may be but you can't deny people just don't know big Keith.

I think He'd do better than the last 3 Floyd opponents, (including this boxing lesson he's bout to hand to Maidana). But he may not win in September. I'd honestly have preferred that one of those name brand fighters did not duck Thurman. He needs a high profile fight to introduce him to the other level.

Yeah I guess so, he should be as active as possible even if they aren't step ups.

Perhaps Pauli's an option if he loses to Porter.

Alexanders out there, don't see him taking it.

Ideally Porter beats Pauli and then Brook (Which what I think will happen) then then fights Thurman, winners get's Floyd.

It makes sense for Floyd to go after that belt.

His last fight could be somehow working out a deal with whoever has the belt in TR. (WBO)

Not really in any aspect. He hasn't beaten anyone noteworthy and he's not any kind of draw to be thrust into a PPV fight.

Guerrero already turned down Thurman, officially, towards the end of last year.
