I said floyd is a promoter, not his own promoter. I never said anything specifically about negotiations going thru any one person.

Negotiations go through Haymon because he is floyd's manager. Haymon,if he told pac to leave arum, would in effect be acting as a promoter and thus violating the Ali act (which he already damn near does) which I think says you can't be both promoter and manager.

I explained in the post you qouted why I think Haymon as a licensed manager and not a licensed promoter can't ask Manny to leave.

I don't think a fighter should have to sign with a promoter to get a fight. But if one does it, isn't every promoter allowed to request it, especialy if it proves to be financially beneficial.

Then last year when Floyd accused Pac of wanting to use him to help him pay his taxes,Pacquiao said he`ll fight Mayweather for free and that Mayweather should do the same,and they both should give the money to charity.Pacquiao turned down 50% of the revenue offer from Floyd,then he turned down 40 mil,then later he said he`s willing to fight for free.And last year Pacquiao asked Rios to take random testing,the same type of testing Floyd asked Pacquiao to take back in 2009,and Floyd was willing to give Pacquiao 50% of the revenue back in 2009,but Pac-juice turned it down.Pac just doesn't want the fight with Floyd,he just wants to fight Marquez 15 times and Bradley 14 times.Pus he knows if the fight with Marquez goes to the bell,Arum`s hand picked judges is gonna give it to Pacquiao.
