Money Mayweather will never fight Pacquiao. He's scared. Health comes first.

Take $6m now or invest in your future, and down the road earn $12m. Its very easy to lure someone into a deal by putting money up front. Look what GBP did for Canelo. Star in 2 years. Bradley "beat" Pac and decisively beat Marquez, and still isn't a star outside of the boxing community. When I tell people about the upcoming Pac-Bradley fight, I have to say Pacquiao is fighting the guy that beat him but really didn't beat him. As with "The One", I would say Floyd is fighting Canelo. And they knew exactly who Canelo was. The red head mexican beast.

He's a small time promoter and he wont be the promoter should any fight with Manny happen. It will be GBP or Top Rank or a co promotion.

I only saw an article where it was rumored floyd tested dirty. There was never any confirmation and the author, Thomas Hauser, never followed up with anything so I took it with a grain of salt.

either way, It didn't have anything to do with my post which was just about floyd being a promoter.
Not at all, it seems that juicing is inherently a cultural thing over at TMT.

"Mayweather Promotions" is just a title screen, GBP does the work. The SHO Box fights that are "promoted" by Mayweather promotions are in reality done by GBP. If Manny became a free agent it would be the same. Instead of TR doing the work for the promotion, GBP would be. If Manny dosen't want to make the switch, then rest assured, hes either lazy or just plain ****** to not realize the opportunities available to him. Like I said in my previous post GBP has between 10-15 options for Manny, where as Top Rank has 3 or so. If he wants to maximize his potential, growth and stock, he should become a free agent and sign with promotional companies on and fight by fight basis.
like i said the way i see it is pac feels he's at a position where he doesnt have to do much so he doesnt feel the need to be his own boss. u have to remember one thing i dont think manny knows the ins and outs of boxing, so if pac was to leave arum he would be clueless of what to do and would really have to put some effort into it by hiring more people to run things for him in return he is risking getting burned by these people. and gotta remember english is not pac's first language, shiiet gets complicated when ur trying to run ur own promotional company in a different country that speaks a language u're not too familiar with.

i know this sounds dumb since ur not around it so u wont understand what im gonna say here but with a lot of asian immigrants, their attitude is "yes sir" type. meaning if they found a job and all they do there is pick up trash but their getting paid for it, they feel lucky that atleast they have a job. their not gonna quit that job and go find a new one knowing how hard its gonna be. thats how asian immigrants think like, not all but the majority.

Yeah. I agree with you in principle. Thats why I personally am not letting a $6 mil guarantee go away if I'm tim.

I have noticed Tim is really talking more in the 24/7, face off, and in the interviews. If he can somehow win legitimately, (i don't think he will I think he loses by UD again) he could maybe get some traction.

As to your point about GBP, they do have a lot more options and may be better able to market Bradley.

How thoughtful and considerate it is - especially after four and a half years of constant jibes and slanders - that Mayweather fans have such an invested interest in Pacquiao being possibly ripped off by his promoter.

2010 - "Take da test, take da test!"

2012 - "No ppv cut, dawg."

2014 - "Leave yo promoter, he don't treat you right ."

I was just saying he is a promoter. No his company isn't as big or successful as TR or GBP.

Guilt by association is not something I find very valid. If so, then as I said to the other poster, those fighters would be guilty because their trainer had another fighter test positive. Silliness IMO.

I don't necessarily agree with the sentiment that Pacquiao would be making that much more by leaving Top Rank. If anything he should be using the threat of leaving Top Rank to leverage himself more money in his potential last fight(s) with the company. Regardless of if he is leaving or not, he could be using the threat of leaving to make Arum sweeten the pot. Nobody except the involved parties know what is going on behind closed doors regarding that issue though.

If Pacquiao did leave Top Rank he would be making more (at least from a Floyd fight), but he would also be swimming with some big fish. Without Arum around to try and out grease Schaefer/Haymon that does leave Manny somewhat exposed, but it didn't seem to help much in Pacquiao-Bradley I either. In my opinion Manny should put the squeeze on Arum for more money in these last fights knowing that Arum wants him to re-sign. Once this year is up, he should go free agent at least to test the waters. If there is no guaranteed Floyd fight, he can just go right back to Top Rank as other fighters have done.
