Dont you feel that a bunch of Orthodox fighters gave Pernell problems that arent even half as good as Floyd? I think these fighters are just about the same with Floyd being WAAAY better and multideminsional But I also feel that if they sparred 7 days out of the week, Sweetpea would have his days and Floyd would too. But I recently heard a story of Floyd beating the crap out of a VERY skilled tactical young defensive fighter. I forgot his name, but Im starting to think that even if you have great defense, if your name is not Floyd, you wont be able to do anything. Its not about defense, its about IQ in this matter. Yea Pernell can land some shots, but after a few rounds it all becomes predictable to Floyd. Not only that but Corley and Zab got dominated. They landed some shots, but got dominated.

Roger could punch, yes. But Floyd could punch too, moreso at the lower weights like 135.

Defensively, yes, Floyd's style mimics his fathers. But offensively? No. Offensively he's a mixture of both Roger and his father, along with doing a bunch of things they did not. Floyd would be a nightmare for Pernell. The other way around? I'm not so sure.

I don't see Pernell outboxing Floyd. I just see Pernell making Floyd work more than he's ever had to offensively, because Pernell won't be as easy to hit as everyone else who basically always lack defense.

The only potshot fight he had in recent years was against Ghost. He threw three slow right hands a round and ran around the ring. When he fought Canelo and JMM he stood in front of them and did magic tricks. So once I prove you wrong, you start trolling with this shiet?

And btw, people were screaming when he was beating up Canelo. They booed the whole fight against Ghost. Against Canelo he put in WORK. Now against JMM he wasnt as aggressive and didnt walk him down, but he was WAAAY slick in that fight, and broke a record for pull counters. That fight had people going, "Ooohh and Aahhh" Go back and watch it. The audience thought they were watching a Vegas Copperfield show.
