Just like I said he would destroy everyone on Floyd's resume, and wouldn't be afraid to fight guys in their prime like he did with Ike, Shane, Tito, Vargas, Floyd, manny, gatti, leija, ruelas, Molina, etc...
How are judging this opinion; cause a 36 yr old Oscar gets beat-up by Canelo; I don't think 34 yr old Oscar beats Cotto. A 26 yr old Oscar yeah beats both of them. But Oscar lost to Shane(a better version) who Floyd only had a problem with for a rd. Both beat Genaro and Gatti the same.

Oscar would be a lot younger,,he didn't take fake retirements and wait years in between big fights.. He fought Ike, Tito Shane in less than a 16 months..
But I will say that Floyd longevity at the top level is simple amazing, and I give him all the props in the world for being a true professional fighter and always staying focused at the gym,,

Oscar didn't last as long as Floyd due to reckless behavior outside the ring plus a ton of wars inside the ring

Quartey,Vargas and Mosely I was his only true back and forth wars cause Tito and Mosley II was more tactical; come on from Mosely II(he became a part time fighter) on he gave Floyd the blueprint on how to take long lay offs. The only difference is he abused his body and Floyd doesn't. I love Oscar to death my #3 fav fighter ever but guy has the most what if career in history and he only blame himself the only fighter who dissappointed me as much was Tyson.

How can u say oscar was a what if type fighter... Dude fought everyone... I guess you can say what if he got the decisions over Tito and Shane rematch, but then he also should have lost to sturm..

By the time that oscar went part time,, he had fought everyone from 130-160 and just got embarrassed by Hopkins... He had accomplished everything he could in his career and even when he was a part time fighter he was taking tougher fights than Floyd and manny have ever done... As a part time fighter he fought not 1 but 2 p4p#1 atg in their primes in Floyd and manny,,,

Oscar puts all current fighters to shame except for cotto and Bradley,, those 2 seem to fight anyone

I love the guy but you don't put anybody to shame when your losing; he is a what if because he didn't take his craft as serious as he should have. Yes to me he beat Tito and and Mosley in the rematch but he really lost to Sturm,Quartey and maybe Pernell. I can't give the Bills props for losing 4 straight SB's which is what Oscar career turned out to be I almost stop being a Oscar fan because I felt he took a dive vs B-Hop. To me just my opinion it's about wins and loses but Boxing is the only sport where that doesn't matter.

                Pea. 115-113 2x, 116-112

His workrate would be the difference. Very close fight between 2 uber-skilled fighters

I know a liver shot hurts like hell; but there was no pop behind it I thought B-Hop was Dq'd at first for a low blow he spent more time hitting the canvas than trying to get up.

And shady part was they became partners in gbp like a week later,,, I think after the sturm fight oscar knew he was in over his head, and him and Hopkins had a nice sparring session til the 9th, and I don't know if oscar quit or took a dive but I was always suspect about that fight

That's exactly what it was a sparring session nobody really broke a sweat then it was over.
