I voted PacMan so he wouldn't be under ***** Mayweather. At least keep these two = so they can both be discredited together.

Truthfully I would choose Sweet Pea. Dude ran through people in his prime with ease.

Oscar Mayweather Pacquiao and Whitaker don't belong in the poll.

It should be Curry, Starling, Mosley and Tito

It has to be Oscar, he has exceptional wins over exceptional fighters at the weight, I just can't hold the Tito fight against him as I had him clearly winning 7 rounds, 2 close rounds and losing 3. How it was scored a win for the PR man is beyond me. His only real blemish at the weight is to Mosley, even that has question marks due to Mosley's past with drugs.

Tito of course is a very close second, one of the most destructive welterweights ever, after that there is a large gap between the top 2 and everyone else.

I'd give the edge to Pacquiao over Whitaker and then Mayweather. These 5 are probably the leading welterweights since the days of Leonard and Hearns.

Starling and Curry were both gifted and skilled and could hit hard too but neither had the resume of the likes of Oscar, Pacquiao or Mayweather.

Mosley would be an ok argument but he has admitted to steroid use in the past.

Tito being ranked as the best has no argument from me as I have him second.

Pernell, he could had Quartey in his list of fighters that he fought but failed the drug test and that got cancelled.

He was the #1 fighter and had to beg to get a fight with the other top guys

Hm? He was able to fight McGirt twice, Chavez and De la Hoya. Whitaker had excellent fights at welter

Forrest should be on the list..

Floyd really hasn't beaten any great fighters at welter,,, Judah baldomir, Shane, ghost, Ortiz are all quality wins but nothing compared to Forrest beating Shane, or Shane beating oscar...

Tito has a very strong resume but his win over oscar is highly debatable...

If oscar had gotten the nod over Tito like he should have, it would be oscar by a mile with wins over Ike, Tito, pernell
Oscar didn't deserve **** for the way he fought the last 4 rds of that fight. He ran away like a bozo to try and preserve his victory. That was disgraceful.
