So When Floyd fought Shane you all said he was old, but following that fight Floyd fought a bigger, younger, stronger, prime opponent who was #2 at ww, and at that time it wasnt the best fighter to face? Coming off the Mosley fight, the Ortiz fight wasnt the fight to make? True or false when Ortiz beat Berto Lampley said no one at ww would fight him? Then when Floyd chose him, Lampley said he only fought him because he didnt throw jabs? True or false?
Nonbiased accurate look at Floyd's resume.

Was whitaker in his prime at 37? How about Jones, or Pep? Floyd is still in his prime dummy. Was whitaker as multidimensional as Floyd? How about Roy or Pep? Because last time I checked, they all lacked discipline, lost to guys they should have beaten, and its NO WAY they could fight Floyd's opponents and do to them what Floyd has done. Floyd is not some flashy defensive fighter like Pep and Pernell. Floyd is a tough businessman and he plays no games. Way more versitile and aggressive than all of them. But according to you, Pernell would walk down Canelo and bully him against the ropes eehh? Ya I kno.Comment

No but its obvious. Floyd detractors are the ones who made up IN THEIR HEAD that he fought this person because of this or that, when in actuality those opponents where the best at that time. Im not speculating at all, he was a washed up fighter when he fought Oscar and Hatton both and he FOUGHT like it. True or false didnt he say he wasnt in love with boxing? Did he fight like it? He retired when the division was stacked with EASY fights. Get over it bro. You DISLIKE Floyd so your judgment is not even worth taking serious. I dont like or dislike him but man he can fking fight. Im not biased like you. I KNOW boxing.Comment

And btw those are FACTS that he chased Oscar and Gatti. It is a FACT that he didnt love boxing anymore and even SAID so. Its a FACT that after the fight he said he felt he had accomplished everything he set out to. So what did he set out to accomplish? What did he chase his whole career? Oscar and Gatti. Its a FACT that he fought like a lazy fighter against Oscar and didnt even try. You just WANT it to be something its not, so you can find away to avoid admitting that he is the best fighter in history.Last edited by MurkaMan; 03-28-2014, 03:47 PM.Comment

No I had to label it that so no one would lump me in with the fanbois. Anyone who knows me, knows Im the only nonbiased one here. But I have never seen a fighter like Floyd in my life. I just hate how no one realizes how special he is. This man should be treated like Mike Jackson look at what he does to his opponents its BEYOND OTHERWORLDLY dude. You claim you love boxing yet your one of the people that sit here and try to discredit him. Do you not realize that your KIDS will have to watch him on youtube? NO fighter in history will EVER be this sharp. Cherish it instead of acting like your blind to the facts. You will regret it if he retires or something happens to him. You will be stuck watching other great fighters who are not...well as special.Comment

no it wasn't the best fight to make. pac was ranked #1. you do realize boxing consists of more than golden boy promotions right? if you don't want to work with anyone else that's your own fault but you can't just pretend they don't exist. So When Floyd fought Shane you all said he was old, but following that fight Floyd fought a bigger, younger, stronger, prime opponent who was #2 at ww, and at that time it wasnt the best fighter to face?
