How to duck 101 Canelo's crash course
When you have to face a thread of a high skill opponents these are the excuses:.
1. If your opponent didn't won last fight by knockout then the excuse is he not convincing and don't deserves the fight.
2.- If the opponent won by knockout so boxing is a business and he doesn't produce high monetary gain.
3.- You can alternate with the excuse that you are having some tune up fights witch is perfectly fine and gain some time to use later other excuses.
4.- If none of the last 3 excuses works you can say the opponents has to wait because Im a business man and business are not done in this way.
5.- Meanwhile find all bums or grandpas with big names to easely increase your record. Exception: if Mayweather accept to fight with you do it due to the revenues you will have and return to excuse #1 with any high risk fighter.

Canelo lost to Trout. So technically Floyd fought a paper champ too. And let's not forget how Canelo got his WBC title.

Technically Floyd fought a champion, because Canelo did beat Trout (even if you don't think so, technically on the scorecards he did). So Canelo in essence EARNED the belt (even though Trout being champion at that time was kinda fraudulent too).

Whereas with Lara, he did not beat anyone who had the belt to become champion. They just 'made' him champion. Thats a paper champion, but it's not his fault, he's not to blame for that joke happening.

Lara is regarded by many as the best junior middleweight in the world. If Canelo is ducking Lara (and I'm not saying he is), he's not just ducking a champion, he's arguably ducking the best.

Technically, Lara is Floyd's mandatory but we all know Floyd won't fight him, so Lara is the rightful WBA champion in my book.

It's true, technically, Lara is now Floyd's mandatory. But Lara didn't earn that status. Canelo should still be champion if the belt is not going to be with Floyd. But they didn't let Floyd get the belt, won't let Canelo keep the belt, and gave it to Lara out of thin air. That's a joke.

Lara and Canelo should fight next. If Lara wins, he should be the mandatory to Floyd's belt. And if Floyd declines the fight, then Lara should receive the belt (that wouldn't be crowning a paper champion, that's legit and logical). Not this circus act that's going on now.

He's a hardcore Lara supporter an no matter how much you say to him, he'll say something else. This fool actually stated that Trout was a cherry pick for Canelo. That is all you have to know.

again jrrod02, I said that Trout is not as hard as Lara or Kirkland are. I never said than an elite fighter is a cherry pick. I'm just making comparisons between one to other and picking the hardest ones, as well as Canelo is picking the easiest ones. Any boxer can win and at this level has a respectable opposition, but some are better than others.
Said that please use your own arguments and stop changing mines. For me Canelo is ducking, that's all

At the time Trout was champion in the division and had just defeated an elite fighter in Miguel Cotto. At that point, he had accomplished much more as a fighter than Lara. Many people, including Golden Boy, didn't really want Canelo to fight Trout. If Canelo picked Lara at that time, instead of Trout, that would have been a 'cherrypick', because Lara did NOT accomplish what Trout had accomplished and wasn't champion either.
