Lmao. As I started reading your post I was actually thinking something was wrong with her and he needed the fight money. Then it hit me.

Yea screw him. The one I do feel bad for is Diaz. I mean, he still got paid but he looks like a man who takes pride in his work and well, you can't be proud of Solis.

Yeah. They had some kind of falling-out and Pedro didn't make the trip to Turkey. Solis has no one but himself to blame for the state of his career. Even a great trainer like Diaz can't motivate that slug.

I watched some of his amateur fights the other day and I've haven't seen someone his size who had such amazing footwork. I mean the best footwork from a heavyweight I've seen in a long time. He was 200 lbs in the amateurs. He's heavier now and he can't use his legs as much. Plus he had surgery on his knee.

My feelings exactly. Solis got caught in a double bind. He is one of those guys that fights to the level of his comp... meaning that he leaves it in the hands of the judges, a real no no. He also has been unable to get physically motivated to showcase his abilities.

I don't know why people can be so unmotivated when the stakes are so high, oh well.

Someone on his team should have forced a situation where he would be locked away from the public, in a private training facility, hired a nutritionist and told him that he is not eating a damn thing of his choosing for 3 months and got him down to proper weight. How a fighter cannot be motivated for a title eliminator is beyond me.

i really didn't think thompson had enough left to beat solis. i'm in cuba so i missed the fight. what did he weigh? if he lost to thompson fair & square then he needs a new team behind him if he wants to continue. i read here that his promoter oner was even yelling at him. i've solis turn it on when he wants to but those moments are getting few & far between. as someone said earlier he should have been locked away in camp away from family & the buffet. f**King solis! i bet on another site he'd win a wide decision... thompson is like the energizer bunny. he keeps going & going. good for him. he is in the mix for a 3rd time but this time in the WBC rankings. it wouldn't surprise me is thompson got a voluntary shot by the winner of arreola\ stiverne... solis needs a complete over haul on his team if he wants ton make another run. if he doesn't then it could be over for him...

                      Solis's boxing was laughable.
