Framptons win over Kiko is as good as Quiggs entire resume.

He has beaten Hirales (making noise up at feather), Kiko (world champ), Parodi & Molitor
Quigg has a draw with Munroe, another with a Cuban. His only standout win is a shot Munroe who just got beaten up by Lee Selby!
I think he was actually gifted the title, wasn't he?

Also, I think Quigg did win against that Cuban fella, but Frampton has beaten better opponents as you say, and has looked better doing it. they are very close.

Salinas couldn't handle the left the body.

Nevertheless, he is way too high up on that list.

Was they scoring though giving Quigg the benefit of the doubt in close rounds being the hometown fighter?
I recall thinking a draw was fair. I think I had Salinas winning the first 5 rounds, clearly with the jab so you only had to find one more to get that draw.

It was a very close fight with maybe a round in it each way.

I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch actually and them settling the score

I remember thinking it was a clear 7-5.

Quigg did take his time to get started, but he clearly won 7 rounds + I seem to remember a knockdown, right?

I think it might of been the WBA Rigo dropped? Seeing as he didn't officially beat Salinas I feel he is a paper champion. He was given the belt and he didn't officially beat the guy he fought for it.

He didn't beat anybody for it.

Think Rigo was made Super Champ, wasn't he?

Quigg is just 'regular' champ - not even a proper belt. So he's in all senses of the word, just a paper champ for sure. And a 'regular' paper champ at that! - Even worse.

For all of you who say Quigg should be lower than Frampton, not just yet fellas. Quigg has a better run of opponents, yes Frampton has the Martinez win but Martinez has only just rekindled his fire, facing Frampton, he looked like he was all but done and chosen as ROmero's opponent on that basis, his win was an upset.

In all honesty, my to 4 or 5, excluding Froch, can be moved around a bit and Frampton just needs a win over Cruz to catapult himself into the top 2 or 3.

What I found atrocious was the likes of Murray being ranked number 2, which is rather ridiculous.

I guess Khan would still be my no 2 because he's been at world level for such a long time. Ricky Burns and George Groves would follow Froch and Khan. After that, I would have Scott Quigg, Kell Brook, Nathan Cleverly, Carl Frampton, Fury and maybe Murray or Bellew.

                So:

                1 Froch
                2 Khan
                3 Groves
                4 Burns
                5 Quigg
                6 Brook
                7 Cleverly
                8 Frampton
                9 Fury
                10 Murray/Bellew
That is a decent list, I wouldn't have Burn above Quigg or Frampton but I can understand why you did it, more historical than recent.

How Cleverly and Bellew make it on that list is beyond me, why have you got them there?

I still remember when Glen McCrory put Oscar in his top 5 P4P after his fight against Steve Forbes

Oh wow, I don't even remember that.

Just looking on the Sky Sports website and the rankings they have on there aren't even the same as the ones they always show on Ringside.

The one they showed on Ringside didn't even have Mayweather ranked at WW.
