Just looking on the Sky Sports website and the rankings they have on there aren't even the same as the ones they always show on Ringside.

The one they showed on Ringside didn't even have Mayweather ranked at WW.
I think that's because Mayweather is considered by some as THE champion in the division and champion's are ranked above 1, which if I remember correctly was Timothy Bradley.

That's not how Sky Sports usually do it or have ever done it before so I don't think so.

On Ringside Kell Brook was #7 or something, on the website he's #12.

The website probably hasn't updated, you may be right as I rarely pay attention to their rankings. I would find it difficult to assume that Sky have not ranked Mayweather at welterweight, considering they rank him as one of the greatest fighters ever.

Do you mean Froch has the best resume out of fighters above MW in the UK?

Tyson Fury wouldn't agree with that list.

He'd beat them all on the same night!

I would still have Khan number 2. He has mixed consistently at world class - with mixed results yeah - but If he dropped to European/Domestic level he would look like a different animal. Outside of Prescott who is not a very good fighter - I think you need to be world class to beat Khan.

Yes, Fury would which is why we are all so fascinated with him.

I agree with your assessment of Khan but I can't help but wonder maybe he is no longer the same fighter, I just don't think Hunter has been the best fit for him.

How Cleverly and Bellew make it on that list is beyond me, why have you got them there?
Because even though they were both knocked out, they were knocked out by the best in the division. As in clearly the best, and by people with daunting KO records.

I think it's more credible to fight the best and lose than to fight the second or third tier fighters and win - whilst not even looking particularly good.

Plus, I thought Bellew actually looked good against Brudov - probably the best I've seen him look. Ever.

Wasn't it taken from Ring or Boxrec rankings?

As made out, I think it was because he's considered the champion.

Bellew did look good but Brudov is an old soldier. I agree, it is always good to fight the best but beyond that, both men have wafer thin resumes and they are not particularly skilled compared to their compatriots.
