I've also seen the same thing in Mikey Garcia when he fought Barros. Then along came Salido and Garcia found a way out.

It's only a matter of time.

GGG isn't going to intimidate Jr and Jr isn't gonna back up. And I don't think GGG will like it. Let's see if either one prove me wrong.

Yeah GGG did look a bit uncomfortable but I think Curtis was countering alot and he was finding it a bit hard to time.

Jr might walk him down & pressure for the same result but also he'll be there to hit, and Golovkin has been "dropping light heavies" in sparring with body shots apparently- so it'll be interesting to say the least
I guess you've seen the same thing I did. Some people called me crazy lol.

As far as the sparring stories go. Well, they're just that, stories. You also gotta consider are they as tough as Jr? But hey, we'll find out won't we?

I agree, That's the way I see it also. I don't think a lot of people watched GGG's last fight either. Adama was hitting him A LOT, I like GGG but the way he looked in his last fight made me question how good he really is.. He really hasn't fought anyone on the elite level and the Ward talk went out the window after his latest performance...

Meanwhile a rejuvenated and in shape Chavez looked great at 168, still took lot of punches himself but that's nothing new with JR he usually will take one to give one.

neither has Jr fought on elite level. Martinez was his best fight and he lost it

Except for the fact that he almost always gets backed up.
Sure he's been backed up but he keeps finding a way to keep coming tho.

Well, according to compubox GGG was a defensive wizard his last fight. Lol

Chavez looked great? He failed to stop or drop blown up Vera, but I guess that's the norm for Chavez.

You just contradicted yourself. GGG has fought 0 elite fighters. Chavez fought Sergio (elite), Carlos Molina (elite), and 6 out of his last 7 fights have been against solid C+ competition..

He didn't get hit much at all. This hopeful Chavez fan probably didn't see the fight

Could GGG stop Vera? I doubt that. The greatest fighter of this generation hasn't stopped anyone in years, boxing is not all about stopping people. Vera has always been known as a pretty durable guy..

He probably meant Chavez hasn't beaten a top fighter. Fought one and lost 11 rounds. AFAIK his only other top 10 opponent was scrub Zbik who outlanded him 2-1 and never got dropped (of course). Then Zbik got stopped by Sturm's jab lol
