Why are some people really trying to defend Canelo by downplaying the fight? This fight makes absolute perfect sense. Both of their last two wins are against Angulo and Trout. Lara beat Trout more impressively, Canelo beat Angulo more impressively. Where else would either fighter go from here?

Would you guys rather see Canelo fight the sex offender in what would be an ugly boring fight just to be called a "Champion"? Canelo's team already came out saying before they seriously consider lara they will check to see if anyone at 160 wants to move down or anyone at 147 wants to move up to 155...155 to fight Canelo..are you serious? call a spade a spade.. they want no parts of Lara.
