Actually it does and it should. Just people being fan boys. You don't see me crying that Oscar should have 1-3 losses cause he wasn't prime for Pac/Floyd and out sized or robbed in others.your argument of jones being hurt by continuing to fight on while shot holds no weight. the same could be said for ali, duran, ray robinson and most of the all time greats. nobody judges ali on his loses to berbick and holmes. just like no one should judge roy on his loses to green and these other guys.
because oscar decided against fighting on and roy didn't, doesn't help make oscar equal to roy.
So if Jones were to fight and Stevenson and win, it shouldn't count right? Cause that just shows picking and choosing which is a ****ty standard.
No I haven't. Explain it in your words.
What are your standards for biggest fights?
Why? Explain!
Why? Explain?
You're not seeing the OVERALL picture here though. You're a Floyd fan, you go by numbers. I posted a brief record of both boxers. Numbers don't lie right?
Don't you argue that Floyd is better than Pac, considering Pac has the better victories? I've seen you go the win/loss route before.
I will give you that, Roy did look very good dominating a lot of his rounds. Looked really pretty in doing so too with his speed. Speed does not equal skill though cause in all the fights I've seen of Roy and looking back in the past, I always thought he left himself too open at times.
I just explained on my OP on what Oscar did. Oscar at the time also did something great. Won titles in 6 divisions, something that has NEVER been done before.
Why? I provided a decent explanation.Comment

Oscar was a good fighter, but not ATG, Oscar lost EVERY big fight he was ever in. Jones was fighter of the decade in the 90s plus going fron Middleweight to HW is unprecedented. Jones legacy is cemented even if he is still fighting and of course hes a shell of his former. Jones simply wow'd fans and boxers alike with the things he was able to do. Jones definetly ranks above OscarComment

Ruelas
Hernandez
and others say hi
Absolutely! As you can see in my op, I give props to that accomplishment.Jones was fighter of the decade in the 90s plus going fron Middleweight to HW is unprecedented.
And losing every other fight. Legacy is getting tarnished but he's still an ATG regardless. I'm not saying if he loses the next 20 fights, he won't be ATG any more though.Jones legacy is cemented even if he is still fighting and of course hes a shell of his former.
Never said he didn't.Jones definetly ranks above OscarComment
