    Floyd barely makes the mainstream..

I own a few bars/restaurants and rental homes and nobody I know follows boxing... Had a party last Saturday and we watched UFC and Danny Garcia fight, and literally no one knew any boxers, and one person knew Floyd...
Weird thing is that at the bars if I'm on premise, I turn boxing on if it's broadcast and a lot of people like it, but still bring up camacho, Duran, Leonard, Those seem to be what people know of boxing, especially camacho. People bring him up all the time
Exactly. People think Floyd's mainstream, but he's only mainstream when he has a fight coming up. If he was mainstream, his spousal abuse case would've been WAY bigger on ESPN.

Imagine if it was Tyson or Ali that got in trouble for beating their spouse.

Well for one he needs to be fighting a lot more. 4 times a year for the next to years would serve him well

Really doubtful. Especially since Mayweather, Cotto, and Pac are really the only people who could really be considered mainstream right now. I love Cotto and he barely is household.

He would have to beat one of them to make it happen. He has potential

But the fact that he can take those big shots is what counts. Let's be honest, how many offensive fighters out there have a watertight defence? The guy always goes for the KO, that automatically means he can also get KOd, it's nothing new.
