Will Keith Thurman be a household name by 2015?

This kid is the next big superstar at welterweight..he has great power and good boxing technique and seems to be getting better against better opposition each time out.
You guys think he will be a superstar by this time next year or will he be avoided by all the top guys at 147 like Paul Williams was and be forced to move to 154 to challenge for titles there?
I hope he gets a chance against Porter/Paulie/Devon/Brook/Maidana very soon..

I would like to see him in with a boxer.. someone who moves and if he passes that test I believe hes the goods. He has a ton of charisma and will connect with auidences and he doesnt do it in a way that would turn people off either.

Honestly, I think he'd beat all the guys at 147 except Floyd,Manny and Tim right now and he's still improving. Would like to see him fight Devon next and see if he could KO him..I'd love to see him against Garcia at some point...

And to answer OPs question, no. Not by 2015. Thurman needs some polishing, and he won't fight any big names soon.

Thurman as far as style and personality (knows how to play into the crowd) just likable period, he can become a big name but he still has a lot to prove.

                    Yep.

Right now, only Pac and Floyd would stand a chance against Thurman at welterweight, nobody else. He would starch the overrated Bradley.
