So? He didn't move up in weight. Isn't that the whole point of p4p? At least theoretically it is..

Sugar Ray Robinson because he's god. Look at him as a middleweight, consider most said he was twice as good at 147, and then you have your answer.

            My understanding of p4p is:

If you put every fighter at the same weight, retaining their same skill sets, who would beat who.

Then you factor in accomplishments and such.

Actually, he ducked a bunch of fighters in his hayday but I'll give you that.

This is the thing...neither of us have seen him fight at that weight, nor were either of us alive when he was fighting there (unless you are really old).

You an myself are both forming these opinions of older fighters from reading about them and hearing what other people have to say.

Then why aren't you factoring them in?

I've seen his fights, and I've read a hell of a lot about him.

When I formed my list I was factoring in accomplishments.

Pep is widely considered the best featherweight ever, beat pretty much every good fighter around that weight ever. He won 200+ fights on his skills and knowledge. Also, the legend of his defense stands...

Greb beat the hell out of a lot of middles, beat Tunney who is a top 5 LHW all-time, beat heavyweights as a natural middleweight, and was absolutely relentless in his attack.

I could give reasons for every one of my picks. I made the initial argument against chups because he named off some heavyweights, implying (or maybe just joking) that they deserved to be higher p4p then the guys on some other dudes list.

                      No more big responses dammit.
