Tell me about it. Gamboa was superstar like back then... He was a more surprising prospect than what Mikey is at this stage.

His speed, power, movement, precision... I still remember all of those fights back when the Juanma-Gamboa fight was a hot topic. Time does fly though.. Look at Juanma now.

Real shame.. I still think there is some of that left in him and this fight would have brought it out of him because of everything that's happened.

I'd like to think so. But it's hard to tell if that's objective or emotional. Gamboa might be done on the elite level. There's only one way to tell, though...but they're not letting it happen.

Typical Bob Arum Move When He Doesn't Want His Fighter Fighting Certain Fighters. He does some BS negotiations then he walks away from the table and cut all negotiations off. Does this not sound familiar? He pulled the same crap during the Kelly Pavlik vs Paul Williams negotiations with Dan Goossen...TWICE!

Then of course with Pacquiao vs Mayweather. When he doesn't want his fighter fighting certain fighters he does the exact same thing and use the same ***in excuses but yet somehow he kinda gets a pass from the boxing media and certain FANS

Man Arum gets blamed for any random crap here. it wasn't him sabotaging PWill Pavlik, it was Kelly in and out of rehab, and remember the staph infection with the nasty photos. And only downhill from there.

Arum always gets the flak. Idiots already forgot when Gamboa ducked Rios and tried to join his idol Floyd. Turned out that Money Mayweather didn't give a **** about him. Gamboa can't even get near GBP's doorstep, yet Schaefer don't get the same hate as Arum. Same Schaefer who doesn't even try to make Canelo vs Lara happen.

Man, how about the Rigo v Donaire scorecards? They were awfully close for my liking. One judge had Rigo up by only 1 round!

Yes, the scores were all too close: 116-111, 115-112, 114-113. I thought Nonito only won the knockdown round. lol
