Typical Bob Arum Move When He Doesn't Want His Fighter Fighting Certain Fighters. He does some BS negotiations then he walks away from the table and cut all negotiations off. Does this not sound familiar? He pulled the same crap during the Kelly Pavlik vs Paul Williams negotiations with Dan Goossen...TWICE!

Then of course with Pacquiao vs Mayweather. When he doesn't want his fighter fighting certain fighters he does the exact same thing and use the same ***in excuses but yet somehow he kinda gets a pass from the boxing media and certain FANS

He negotiates in bad faith all the time, then just starts a PR war.

lol No doubt, Mexico is a great boxing nation. But, while Cuba and Mexico have always been on good terms, rivalries will always draw the worst from some people. Witness what we see on a regular basis around here. A Mexico - Cuba rivalry will be just as intense as any other, at least once Cubans from the island can participate. Right now, there just aren't enough of us to make real noise. And you see how noisy just a handful of us can be....

But we're not just loud in voice. We won't stay quiet in any sense. Some people wonder why Castro has stayed in power for so long, why we haven't overthrown him. Above all else, the reason is because Castro won over the Cubans on the island years ago and indoctrinated them into his system. It's mainly the exiled Cubans that hate him. Otherwise, he would've been overthrown just like every other dictator in our history.

Looks like Team Garcia and Top Rank are ducking Gamboa here. Gamboa does not deserve to get paid as much as Mikey though, if he wants as much as Mikey he's just pricing himself out.


Uchiyama/Garcia is the fight I want to see. Uchiyama has been the best fighter at 130 for 4 or 5 years now. He's also knocked out 10 out of his last 11. This would be a boxing fans dream come true if it were to happen

I don't like to lay online or against computers too much. I much prefer live play against strong human players. I recently moved to Florida, and I'm having trouble finding a source of regular competition. When I have good playing partners, I can't get enough of the game.

Do to my work I don't have enough time to play live still, I enjoy a few minutes of the game everyday with players that like me don't have time...

lol Maybe it is a Caribbean thing...I dunno. But, man, if you ever saw any footage of those guys in Havana at "La Esquina Caliente" "talking" baseball, you might change your stance. It's like they think the guy that screams the loudest wins the argument. Come to think of it...kind of like here.

Maybe it's because I enjoy the sporting side of the game. I can sit through a live five hour game no problem, or play blitz all day long, but even a few minutes online bores me. But, obviously, if that's all you have time for, then that's all you've got.
