Gamboa is clearly much better than these guys, it's not even close.

I don't know if the definition of "good fighter" has changed but Rocky Martinez is not a good fighter in my book. He has never beaten anyone decent without controversy.

I'm not sure Gamboa is "much better" than Burgos. The real question is, what kind of state is Gamboa in with his recent inactivity? He hasn't exactly dazzled in his last two fights. Rocky Martinez is legitimately top ten. To me, that makes him at least a somewhat notable victory. I'd prefer if Gamboa got a fight or two under his belt to shake off the ring rust while Garcia fought Uchiyama. Then, the two could fight.

sorry but uchiyama has fought no one of consiquences. ive watched his fights on utube and will stand by my statement that this would be a good stay busy fight for mikey. nothing more.

lol Gamboa did not KO Salido. In fact, he's lucky he didn't get disqualified for hitting Siri while he was down. I will agree, though, that Yuri beat the better version of Salido.

By the way, as a lifelong chess-player, I'm quite proud of the Cuban genius Capablanca.

Salido is better than Burgos. IMO he is Mikey's best win.

As for Rocky Martinez, the best thing I can say about him is that he's tough.
