Not to mention he was by far and away the biggest person Floyd had fought at that point. Baldomir was a massive, massive Welterweight at a time when Floyd had just moved up a year prior and was tiny.

Just shut the **** up, you know absolutely nothing about boxing.

Hindsight is 20/20 when you try to discredit someone. Baldomir was not only a legitimate fight, it was a good fight made at the time.
Man, you have to be kidding me right? Baldomir? .... and you say that I know absolutely nothing about boxing?

Please log off and close your account!

Gatti couldn't handle making weight no more at 140 so he fought Baldomir at 147 and lost. Not his weight class and Gatti was ready to retire.

Judah is Mr inconsistent that has a lousy record at WW. Go check it out. He lost close to half his fights at WW then went back down to JWW.

and you say that I know absolutely nothing about boxing?

You are confused? Then why are you not confused about Floyd's cherry pick? Is it because you got used to it? It's nothing new?

Like you however, I am confused how people who spent a year or more talking about how Bradley was a feather-duster fraud can declare this a great fight? I mean, if he lost 11-1 or 10-2 to Pac like some of the atrocious scorecards I've seen on here indicate and then lost to Provodnikov. I'm just wondering how this can be a great fight in their eyes just by using their own metrics.

Bradley fought the wrong fight against Provodnikov. He wanted to show everyone that the Manny win was no fluke and so on .... when he boxed, he showed who was superior.

Then he smartened up and clearly beat Marquez ... even though you don't think so, which is a JOKE!

FACTS THAT YOU DONT KNOW OR IGNORE ABOUT FLOYD MAYWEATHERS CAREER

              1) He won the lineal title in is 18th pro fight, 2nd year as a pro at 21 years of age. Very few fighters have won titles, younger or in fewer fights. Also considering the quality of fighter. Genaro Hernandez was the man at 130 for years and beat the best there. Not no vacant title, against some unranked guy but THE MAN.

              2) Only Manny Pacquaio has won 4 lineal titles and each time he won a lineal title it was against the number one guy, not some vacant title. Hernandez(130), Castillo(135), 147(Baldomir, Mosley), Canelo(154)

Try to name one former lineal junior lightweight world champion who would beat Canelo, Oscar and Cotto.

              2) in 45 fights almost half his fights are title fights and over a third are against future former or current world champions.

              3) With signing to fight Maidana he will have fought 13 world titlists he has defeated 12 in a row....name one fighter in this era or prior who has done so....Whitaker, Chavez, Jones, Hopkins, Toney, Leonard, Hearns, none of them have done this. There may not be a lot of great fighters in his era but he has consistently beat good to very good competition convincingly for a long time

              4) In his early career as pretty boy floyd he called everyone out on HBO TSZYU, ODLH, Mosley, Casamayor, all the top guys avoided him until he became the cash cow

              5) he conceded everything to ODLH for the fight...gloves, ring size, weight class, etc...he earned his spot. The champ doesnt call out guys, face it. you dont have to watch him. I will.
STFU, people opinion bother you dont read em then you wouldent even have to waste your time creating this thread dumbass.

thats 2 out of 3...not 3.....all above welterweight for floyd

Pacquaio fought both after sub par showings

Mayweather beat them all after big wins....huge difference....also ODLH hadnt fought at 147 in almost a decade by the time manny got to him...why?? he knew he couldnt beat floyd at 147, he thought he could get manny out of their...but didnt expect the toll it took

The truth always seems to muddy stuff here on NSB. He has 3 fights JMW. The first 2 fights were at 154 the other at 152. It is reminiscent of ODH-who fought STurm at 160 then fought Bhop for the lineal title at 157.

Most of his fans do not say that. They say that he is a WW that has gone up to JMW because of the financial opportunity. His detractors ignore this so they can criticize. The ones that do say he is too small point to the fact he has come in to the 3 JMW fights at 148, 148, and 150 (i may be wrong) for these fights.

He isn't "sitting" on the ineal belt-there isn't one. Floyd won the lineal title. If he fights again at JMW he will defend that title.

I will agree the sanctioning body should have stripped him of the 154 lb title. They didn't because 3% of a floyd fight is far more than any other fight. Maybe we shoud blame them.
Floyd doesn't pay a % he pays a flat rate much less than 3%.... More than any other fighter but not 3% hahaha that's funny 3%...

                      Thats how good Floyd is.

Anybody else fights Maidana and its a great fight. Anybody. Matthyse vs Maidana, Garcia vs Maidana, Thurman vs Maidana, Paulie vs Maidana, Maidana vs Porter, Maidana vs Guerrero, Maidana vs Broner 2. Floyd fights him and its a cherry pick.

Even if it was Pac vs Maidana it would be a GREAT fight. Entertainment wise, there would be a legit belt on the line and no catchweight? That would be huge. But Floyd fights him and its a cherry pick.

Manny vs Bradley 2? Im getting sleepy just thinking of it.
