But Pac when he beat Barrera and became the name, unlike Floyd, Pac went on a wrecking mission fighting every 2 months for 7 years and winning and stopping everything in sight. Whereas Floyd peeped his head around the corner when the coast was clear from time to time.

When Floyd became considered not just a champion but so called p4p best he went AWOL. Because when you are considered the best everyone wants to fight you and it gets tougher.
That's why he fought once every 18 months, when he really could have fought at least 2 or 3 times a year. Pac did all the fighting for Floyd during this period when Pac and FLoyd were the main men.
Damn!!!! One of the if not the best post I have ever read

FACTS THAT YOU DONT KNOW OR IGNORE ABOUT FLOYD MAYWEATHERS CAREER

      1) He won the lineal title in is 18th pro fight, 2nd year as a pro at 21 years of age. Very few fighters have won titles, younger or in fewer fights. Also considering the quality of fighter. Genaro Hernandez was the man at 130 for years and beat the best there. Not no vacant title, against some unranked guy but THE MAN.

      2) Only Manny Pacquaio has won 4 lineal titles and each time he won a lineal title it was against the number one guy, not some vacant title. Hernandez(130), Castillo(135), 147(Baldomir, Mosley), Canelo(154)

Try to name one former lineal junior lightweight world champion who would beat Canelo, Oscar and Cotto.

      2) in 45 fights almost half his fights are title fights and over a third are against future former or current world champions.

      3) With signing to fight Maidana he will have fought 13 world titlists he has defeated 12 in a row....name one fighter in this era or prior who has done so....Whitaker, Chavez, Jones, Hopkins, Toney, Leonard, Hearns, none of them have done this. There may not be a lot of great fighters in his era but he has consistently beat good to very good competition convincingly for a long time

      4) In his early career as pretty boy floyd he called everyone out on HBO TSZYU, ODLH, Mosley, Casamayor, all the top guys avoided him until he became the cash cow

      5) he conceded everything to ODLH for the fight...gloves, ring size, weight class, etc...he earned his spot. The champ doesnt call out guys, face it. you dont have to watch him. I will.

He Never took roids either, and he never cherry picked his way to whole bunch of titles in a whole bunch of weight classes either.

The above line you posted just summed up everything you had to say. A titlist nowadays doesn't mean that Floyd is fighting the best. Floyd names the best but doesn't fight them. At least, not when they mean something. Which sums up some of the other opponents you listed

It's too bad because in all that smokescreen that you want to have us all believe, Floyd could have had a decent resume but blew it away just to make sure that his precious little "0" remains untouched.

If you objectively breakdown and analyze what you wrote, you would probably delete this thread or deactivate your account and come back as another poster due to your exaggeration .... but again, that is if you are being objective!
ha ha ha....wow! an arrow through the heart....

very good points....and very well said!

Anybody else fights Maidana and its a great fight. Anybody. Matthyse vs Maidana, Garcia vs Maidana, Thurman vs Maidana, Paulie vs Maidana, Maidana vs Porter, Maidana vs Guerrero, Maidana vs Broner 2. Floyd fights him and its a cherry pick.

Even if it was Pac vs Maidana it would be a GREAT fight. Entertainment wise, there would be a legit belt on the line and no catchweight? That would be huge. But Floyd fights him and its a cherry pick.

Manny vs Bradley 2? Im getting sleepy just thinking of it.
That's how good Floyd is LOL? Hes so good that is why he is fighting the guy who lost to Pacs sparring partner more like it.

Its a cherry pick simply because there are other boxers out there who have a better chance of beating Floyd, and hes made to order for him, and if you disagree with that, you are a floydie fanatic.
Having said that although its a cherry pick people still expect Maidana to be able to test Floyd simply because FLoyd isn't that great.

Yawn with the sparring partner stuff.

Come up with better then that.

JMM put Pac to sleep and he wasnt even good enough to give Floyd a competitive sparring session.

Floyds so great he made JMM look like a sparring parter, and if hes so great why is he fighting a guy who lost to Pacs sparring partner.? Exactly, hes a cherry picker.

if you are the p4p champ, people expect you to fight the best. its all well and good fighting "champions" who have held 1 of the numerous titles for 5 minutes. malignaggi was a welterweight "champion" not long ago ffs!!!

the reality is that there is only 1 champion, and the rest are just contenders with belts. mayweather is the welterweight champion and until he gets beat or retires, to call any other welterweight a champion is BS.

mayweather is the champ, and the winner of pac bradley is the number 1 contender. therefore, if mayweather isnt fighting the number 1 contender, he isnt fighting the best.
