Rios Is Punch Drunk! If He Could Make '40,Why Not Say So Before Provo Made This Fight

Provo was clear, after he destroyed Alvarado who beat Rios, he wanted to defend his title at '140. Rios & Co were pounding the tables Rios had to fight at 147, so Provo goes and makes a fight at 140. If Rios could make 140, then why didn't he say so when he had the opportunity to land a fight with Provo???? So you wait until Provo makes another fight at 140 instead, now you chase the media down to trash the fight and tell the world you have no problem making 140! Tells me Rios, you didn't really want the Provo fight to come together because you know Provo is a monster just as you described, and this is nothing more than your weak attempt at your own image control. Thank your lucky stars that Provo didn't sign to fight you. Your deer in the headlights style as you showed against Pacquiao would get you killed with Provo. Provo have Bradley the beating of his life at 147, knocked out the guy who beat you in his own backyard; he deserves the right to choose who he chose. He called out Marquez and he wouldn't take the bait. Pacquiao & Bradley came together. Rios wouldn't step up to fight at 140, he now says he can make weight to, and Danny Garcia hasn't been to anxious to fight Provo, so there you have it. Rios needs to go beat someone credible, which he STILL hasn't done. Not sure the love affair with Rios still; his ONLY claim to fame was beating a b-level fighter who came back and beat him in a rematch, who was later stopped in 8 by Provo. I'd say Rios, like Khan, are far from deserving title shots until they beat one of TODAYS best.

        PAC/rios was a piece of **** fight.

Ruslan vs demarco, will be entertaining no matter what happens.

Someone should tell rios that his act wears thin when he's losing, and quite frankly his time in this sport is coming to an end.

I won't go as far as to say Provo is ducking Rios. And I'd probably pick Provo to win that fight. Not because he's that much better a fighter. But because he has less wear-n-tear. That said, Provo has probably replaced Matthysse as the most overrated fighter in boxing. He's a good lil fighter. But he's a limited guy that's not nearly as big a threat to elite foes as his recent d1ck jumpers think he is. And I'm pretty sure he's already been tabbed by his quasi promoter Bob Arum as the Bradley-Pacquaio II loser's comeback opponent. So they're not gonna risk him against anybody with a pulse. Insert Tony Demarco. A blown up lightweight moving up and coming off a brutal, one sided beatdown and KO loss.

In terms of the gap in class between the two fighters matched up. Pac-Rios probably was a ****ter match-up than Provo-Demarco. But when you look at the circumstances surrounding the two fights. I think they're at least equally ****ty. And I might give Provo-Tony an edge in ****tiness.

Brandon Rios vs Ruslan Provodnikov would be a great fight but Brandon is asking for a title shot after back to back defeats, I think he should at least win a rematch with Alvarado at 140 and maybe even another significant fight at 140 to make a better case for himself.

As far as Antonio DeMarco vs Ruslan, I also think that's a great fight and I actually think that DeMarco will be a lot stronger at 140 then he was at 135 because it really looked like he was killing himself to make 135. I hope that DeMarco does get the fight and puts on the fight of his life surprising everyone and winning it.
