Lmao is this a joke? The guy goes to war every single fight, he refuses to take a step backward and the harder you hit him the bigger his smile gets. He isn't a household name but anyone who has ever seen Rios fight will want to see him fight again. I don't even care is he loses more fights in the future, this guy is as fun as it gets

Rios would be entertaining to watch, in a fight with Provodnikov...... The weight issue is valid... Ruslan would hate to see Rios pull a Salido at the scale.... The question for me is Why should Rios get a World Title fight after back to back losses ????
He would be a huge underdog, after which his marketability would be in serious trouble, with a potential third consecutive loss..... He should bust up a few contenders and regain some confidence while raising demand for his stock... At some point he'll get the trilogy with Alvarado..... He needs to insure that everyone wants to see it...
I understand why Rios would want Ruslan, I don't know why Provodnikov would want Rios ??? Ruslan would be taking a payday against someone everyone expects him to K.O..... Ruslan needs to draw in a Broner or Khan class of fighter.... If he can look vulnerable enough in beating the likes of those, then perhaps he can spark the interests of Manny or Floyd ???? Ruslan can't look to good because Floyd and Manny are getting long in the tooth.... They don't need the kind of WAR Ruslan had with Bradley, win or lose... Ruslan needs to look slow, thus a much safer fight... That's if he wants to fight for the big bucks vs the living legends......
That is where I'd be looking to go, if I were Ruslan Provodnikov..... Rios is a stay busy fight, not a serious career builder.... But it would be fun to watch !!!Comment

He needed banned substances to cut weight for a ppv fight w/ Pacquiao but now he can make 140 no problem , let Rios get a soft touch in prove he can make the weight and it can happen in the late fall.
