Remember Ward saying he can beat a Klitscko? Why no fight, what gives?
    LMAO!!

    Did he honestly say that?
He really does sound like a silly guy!
His fight style is catered to that of Wladimirs ahaha Ward wouldn't even do any better than Haye did, I highly doubt he would...

WAIT now it makes sense he said this because he knows he will never be a heavyweight and its unrealistic for Wladimir to come down to 168lbs and the fact Wladimir predominately fights in Germany...
Ahhh clever, clever little guy that Ward is!
He wont smack talk Kovalev and challenge him at hss weight though smh!

You basically pointed out Klitsch, Abraham, and Stieglitz fighting outside of Germany for bigger fights in an argument you base that Germany has the big fights. And I didnt say a fight between Sturm and GGG couldnt bring in money, I merely stated that theres no way a fight between Sturm and GGG is bigger than a fight between Ward and GGG. And thats just fact man. Youre basically comparing PPV to domestic.
I argue that the Sturm fight is bigger as the stadium would be fuller, and the purse would be bigger.
GGG vs Ward in the US is not a PPV fight. Neither fighter in the US has the following for a PPV.

And no matter how you cut it, if youre a boxer and want to be the best, as do most athletes that dedicate their life to a sport, then you must beat the best. So they can make money fighting lesser opposition and be satisfied in that, but if they want to beat the top dogs then they need to agree to the top dogs terms and prove themselves as the best.

And i completely disagree with your statement that Froch and Bute had more pull after the Super 6. Ward was on top of the world after that tourney so there was absolutely no reason he needed to bow down to Frochs demands for a rematch. Froch got handled easily on the world stage, if he really wanted his rematch and to get his face back he wouldve agreed to whatever terms were made.

And like ive stated before, I am not happy with Wards inactivity as of recently either. But he is still #2 until someone steps up to dethrone him.
Bute was fighting in front of 15,000 people in Montreal.
Froch has a huge following and making big paydays in England.
In fact his fight with Grooves is going to be in a stadium.
Ward's last fight had like 4K people in it.

Golovkin is the one who claimed that he didn't want to fight at 168 yet, whenever Ward's name was brought up. But then he changed his tune real quick for Chavez Jr.

It's the very definition of a cherry pick.
Alot of people are saying GGG hasn't fought anybody of note yet mate so why should he come up and fight the P4P 2 fighter?
Surely If he hasn't fought anyone of note he wouldn't be at such a privilege to that type of fight?

He (Ward) said to Adonis who had a massive year in 2013 that he needs some more big fights before he is willing to fight him what is so different about GGG and Adonis?
          Legitimate question.

          • picking here and pecking there

Ward is not a very marketable commodity…He is very strong, an unpleasant fighter, never smiles, has a tight anus mouth, fights always at home, is referee over protected, grabs a lot, not so boring as Wladimir, but Wladimir is charming, and compared with the greats taking risks, he is zero risk…lets him marinate in his own sauce. Till the very end, no Hagler, no Jackson, no Hearns, no Duran…a kind of frustrated *******, the son of god…ha!ha!

As a big fan of Wladimir they both are similar in fighting style, they don't take any risks really they take the safety first approach and that is fine but the holding after a single punch and pushing down and pressing people against the ropes it isn't always the best thing to do, its not fair and shouldn't be allowed I personally think Wladimir would still be dominating regardless.

I understand Wladimir has adopted this approach due to his chin but I don't think he quite as badly clinches as much as Ward the last time he really was doing it badly was against Povetkin, he doesn't always do it in fight.

What confuses me further is how does Ward merit a higher P4P standing than Wladimir over such a short career.

Golovkin is the one who said he'd fight anyone from 154 lbs to 168 lbs.

Then when Andre Ward shows interest Golovkin is the one who suddenly says he wants to stay at 160.

...unless Chavez Jr is in play. In which case Golovkin's promoter is interested in a fight at 168 after all.

How can anyone give GGG a pass for that? Especially if they are super critical of other fighters for doing far less?
