He was being touted as surpassing SRR, being on par with Rigondeaux, and was the favorite to beat Salido in only 2 pro fights. Overhyped is an understatement.

Boxing can be a lucrative successful career or a quick cash grab. But if you want a long career you need to come up and develop the proper way.

i'll get this started....
The guy was hyped up like he was the next Mayweather, and this guy is not a Mayweather, meaning he's not gonna beat everybody. Thats asking for too much to expect this kid to be unbeatable. At least Broner won 3 championships before his first loss, at least give the guy some creampuffs his first 30 fights like GGG. On here he was atg now he already has as many losses as Broner.
nah he was pretty good, he mis-judged the stamina it would take in a 12 rounder and used incorrect pace. He's gonna be a champion all the way up to WW just give him some time this is why prospects get put in with different lower skilled fighters to show them different styles to prepare for. And Salido showed him alot, dirty fighters, holders, guys that are gonna make you use your head to win and take more than physical tools. He's gonna have a good career. And he didnt have any excuses which I really liked.

Even Mayweather continued to add new wrinkles to his game after 20, 30 and 40 fights throughout his career.
