"Overhyped" and "hypejob" are two different things. The best example of this is Matthysse. Was he overhyped prior to the Garcia loss? Absolutely. Was he a hypejob? Not at all, he was and still is a very good fighter.

When recently did this happen pretty sure Salido was stopped by neither Gamboa or Garcia and is one of the best FWs in the world....Loma made it a close fight but was inexperienced and lost, he still needs some work but can improve.

Salido has also not been stopped in 14 years.

You obviously have no idea what your saying because in the past 14 yrs he only lost 3 times all decisions to Marquez ,Gamboa, mikey none of who could have beaten Salido in there 2nd fight

Loma's confidence will be greatly hurt after this. And the fight wasn't even competitive.

So the guy had a credible amateur background and loss to a veteran for his title on his second fight and that makes him a hype job?
Not to mention how dirty Salido fought including the cheating on the scales and the referee some how is oblivious to his actions. Sure Lomachenko clinched quite a few times but even in these clinches he wasn't attempting to hit Salido rather recalibrate. Salido also attempted to hit off the break and was throwing low blows while in the clinch.

I don't think he is a hype job I believe he was overrated due to his amateur background. A prime example of a hype job would be Lucas Matthysse though I'm a fan of him myself, Lucas's punching power got him his recognition not his skills. An example of an overrated boxer would be Adrien Broner losing to Ponce De Leon jumping up to 147 to fight a weak champ in Paulie and receiving a SD as a final outcome and then many judging by Broners 'talents, skills and imitations of the 1#P4P fighter' would be able to beat Marcos Maidana via UD and to some by KO which was hilarious because we knew Broner couldn't phase Paulie and he would have to brawl against one of the hardest hitters at 147 to even hurt Maidana.

People were definitely going overboard. Thankfully he didn't get knocked out or beat up badly. He'll bounce back but he and handlers have to be smarter and move a little slower.

Also, it would help if he fought someone who can actually make the weight.

I dont know any fighter that inexperienced who would beat Salido. I dont see how anyone could call him a hype job based off that fight.

                      Oh i forgot,............ its NSB
