Who needs Ward anyway? GGG sure doesn't. Ward barely has a fan base, is coming off injuries and is one of the most inactive undefeated fighters out there. Should they fight? Yes...sometime. Nobody really cares about Ward right now.

Stevens, who was perceived to be the more technical fighter, couldn't even land punches on GG, which just means GG has good defense. He wants to finish his opponent, so of course he's liable to be countered. He's taking risks. What do you expect? I don't know what they see in runners and clinchers like Lara and others. I don't see such styles as versatyle. They can't seem to fight on close distances.

I would say Kovalev is more deserving of a Stevenson fight than Golovkin is of a Ward fight. At least Kovalev has fought decent names like Campillo, Cleverly, and Sillakh.

Unfortunately, that is America, mexicans root for mexicans, puerto ricans root for ricans, brits root for brits, asians root for asians, but white americans root for white americans. they'd rather a foreigner win than a black american. Thats the way they were raised, but they are dying off with the rest of their ilk.
