He took plenty of Chavez's punches and considering Chavez is the bigger man and couldnt knock him out even when he had him in trouble speaks volumes about this guys chin. Want to question his chin? Well hes fought a hell of a lot more harder punchers than Cotto has.

Oh man.. Mayorga, Foreman.. yes very true... even those 2 guys he never knocked down, they both quit... but okay.. i guess Cotto has great power. Pacquiao must have been on some serious stuff when he fought Cotto... cause Cotto was doing well in the first quarter of that fight.

Trust me... if Cotto was as a big puncher as you think Pacquiao would have taken his punches? He made Floyd bleed but Floyd was never seriously hurt.. Mosley stopped and dropped Margarito twice, and Cotto never did... i dunno.. not saying your wrong.. just not sold on him having great power over 140.. you may be right.... not saying your wrong.

Cotto was completely drained for Pac. As far as margarito, it's hard to knock somebody out when you getting hit with a cast lol. I honestly think the difference in this fight is roach and the strategy he will bring

Margarito is a straight up dirtbag.. i dont know about Cotto being drained for Pacquiao because he came in at 146 for Clottey.. only a pound over the fight for Pacquiao which was right after.. but looking at how he has looked at 154. he may have been drained.... but even in the 2nd fight cotto didnt knock Marga-Cheato down... but hes got a great chin.. we will see..... how you think Cotto is going to fight Martinez??? If martinez cant be mobile.. its gonna be really really interesting.

Finally someone who agrees with me on this!

Lol at all these comments saying 'it's not the same Martinez from 5 years ago' and that Cotto will destroy him- it's not the same Cotto either- he's fighting at a weight class he's never been in before and Cotto @154 wasn't exactly a beast. Cotto has bitten off more than he can chew- his only saving grace may be Freddie Roach who he should have teamed up with years ago, perfect match IMO.

Regardless, I got Cotto kneehugging the canvas somewhere around the 10th.
