He took them okay.. but he wasnt fighting ******.. he was bruised up pretty badly after the fight... I think he got way too careless and Chavez took advantage.. it wasnt like Chavez didnt hit him in the first 11 rounds of their fight.. actually right at the end of round 11 if i remember correctly, Chavez hurt Martinez.. Martinez was also stopped by Margarito back when he was fighting at 147.

Bro, it doesnt work like that. JR and Sergio hit harder than Cotto at 160. They are naturally bigger and have knocked out bigger men.

Its not a knock on Cotto. He'll have to box really well to beat Sergio.

I cant explain certain things to certain fight fans... i guess you have said it well.... Cotto's power is vastly overrated.. he breaks guys down more than he has particular power...

whats the tale of the tape.. how tall is Sergio.. just a fyi.. Sergio seems real sensitive.. honestly who cares if Cotto ignored you.. either way you guys are going to fight in the ring.

Is Sergio better than Austin Trout? Just a random thought...? You think Roach will be the difference, he kinda scares me because he dont teach no defense and cotto cuts quick.

Seriously? Remember wolak? Pretty good fighter with good power. Best up reel bad former champ foreman? Well wolak had two wars with Rodriguez, one was fight of the year, and he never hurt Rodriguez. In addition, Rodriguez has been a 154 pounder forever and had fought pretty good opposition there, and guess what no one had ever stopped him before cotto. Since cotto landed that first shot on him, you can tell in Rodriguez face he was stunt. If you honestly don't think his power has come along with the weight, Please watch that fight again

These two arent going to learn any thing new. They are old dogs and will fight how they fight. Cotto is just so much smaller. I love him for taking the fight but its hard to pick him. The x factor is Sergio's form--will he show up healthy and still be able to do his thing...

Then you must be one of many of Chavez's fans who skipped the preceeding 11 rounds to watch only the 12th. He took plenty of Chavez's punches and considering Chavez is the bigger man and couldnt knock him out even when he had him in trouble speaks volumes about this guys chin. Want to question his chin? Well hes fought a hell of a lot more harder punchers than Cotto has.

Yea which is why i never understood why Cotto keep changing trainers... he always has stamina issues, and hes a boxer-puncher... i actually liked the cuban trainer. big question mark is Sergio's health.

Trust me... if Cotto was as a big puncher as you think Pacquiao would have taken his punches? He made Floyd bleed but Floyd was never seriously hurt.. Mosley stopped and dropped Margarito twice, and Cotto never did... i dunno.. not saying your wrong.. just not sold on him having great power over 140.. you may be right.... not saying your wrong.
