OK, let's play the round robin. JMM beat Pac. Bradley lost to Pac. Bradley beat JMM.

That's at the very least a placement on the top 5 for each fighter. Marinate on that.

Thurman? Really? I get it, he's a good fighter, but he hasn't beaten anybody worth mentioning. Thurman could fight Lucas next and very well lose that fight for all we know. That's how proven the guy is against top notch fighters.
    Agree with you there.

I do like Thurman and think he's quite good but has he beaten a fighter in the Top 10 yet? Seldom if he has.

His best win is Soto Karass who Maidana had already stopped.

Nah, Khan barely makes the top 10 as well. He did school Maidana though.

I explained with those 3 its preference and with Thurman i just think that. Just like GGG fans. Even my original post i stated that i respect Bradley but I have never thought highly of his skill set. Been saying that from beginning. Like i said how can some have Pac 2 but JMM 5 when he destroyed him. Marinate on that. Its preference

There's no 5th guy that is head an shoulders above the rest. It's all subjective and you can criticize guys like Thurman or Porter being over Maidana as well.

it sounds more like your 5 favorite welterweights, instead of top 5. even GGG is more proven then thurman. GGG is actually a champ and is widely the unanimous 2nd best MW. thurman like GGG, is still untested but fights in a much better division, the money division aka WW.

to not have tim bradley in your top 5 WW's and being completely serious, sounds like too me prematurely discrediting a pacman victory.

for goodness sakes, most think timmy is #3 P4P, atleast we know OP is trolling. but uhhhh, it's your opinion and you're entitled to it..

Exactly. We all know Thurman's a good fighter, but the guy has to prove it against the top level guys.

I have Thurman on my list based on talent rather than resume, people don't know what he's fully capable of yet. We've all seen what Maidana is capable of. He's very limited and predictable. Also, even though he's been around for longer, I'd argue that Thurman and Porter have better resumes than him. Diego Chaves, Quintana, Alexander etc are better than Broner, who's Maidana's best win.

It's all subjective like you say, but I wouldn't surprised if most people including Maidana in their top 5 are Floyd fanboys, tryna hype him up.

I have Pac 2, but I never said you HAVE to have Pac 2. I just think it's dumb to have JMM on the list, and leave off the guy that beat the guy that you regard in such high esteem.

He sc****d by maidana and still runs from a rematch.

if anyone did any schooling.. Maidana just schooled Khan on how to get a Mayweather shot.
