That wasn't his prime as far as technique, remember he didn't start boxing at all until he was like 22.

I agree with everything but that Martinez was in his prime when he lost to Margarito, he wasnīt in his prime at all. His first professional fight was in 1997 and that fight was in the year 2000, only 3 years after that. He was still growing.

Well yes, if you start training hard at a young age. I am way stronger and fit now that i am 32 than when I was 25, just because i didnīt train as much as now. Sergio started boxing at 22.

Segio was way better as a boxer in the years 2006-2011, in the year 2000 he didnīt know how to use properly his left hand. He had to break his right hand to begin using his left hand properly. Also, his skills, technique, and boxing knowledge improved a lot.

Sergio's prime years where from 2006 to 2011, in my humble opinion.

? if Cotto's the one making the fight at 159, how is Martinez the sissy?

prime cotto was at 140, knocking out dudes with his left hook. Prime Martinez is debatable too me, I feel like actually sergio peaked in his boxing career at his early 30's. he started late, and its hard to say when he was in his prime because it took him until his 30's to step up in competition

Yeah i can agree,i guess i can agree, but cotto back in 2006-08 before margarito was a frickin beast,i would of loved to see the fight in those years, but martinez at that time wasnt very known and they were fighting in two different weight classes which made it impossible....buts its still a very good fight at this point, and cottos got a real shot ,so im glad its happening now then never!!u know wut i mean jelly bean.

How is Cotto supposed to win this fight? He can't outbox Martinez from the outside. He tries that, Martinez will just jab him all night long like he did Dzinziruk. He tries to pressure Martinez, Martinez will counter him on the way inside. He tries to brawl with Martinez, Martinez's greater chin and power will probably win him that battle. Only way Cotto wins this fight is if he somehow can get inside and smother Martinez without taking too much damage.
