Miguel has a very good chance of winning this fight by a convincing UD victory. War Cotto!

Then Dude don't watch it. I know I am.

They're both well past their prime, but still, this is a helluva fight.

And it's an infinitely better PPV option than Canelo/Angulo.

You're right. Fighters with a slender build are more susceptible to flash knockdowns (Martinez, Wlad, etc.) As you say, in recent times Martinez has really only been hurt by Chavez, who is basically a light heavyweight.

I would say definitely yes. There is no doubt in my mind Martinez would have sent Rios and Bradley to the convass. In fact, it's highly unlikely either of those guys would have heard the final bell.

Martinez is a much bigger man than Pacquiao.

I certainly wouldn't say 'much better'. Martinez may have been down in his last 3 fights, but Trout was down in his last 2. Any superiority Trout has in defense is dwarfed by the superiority Martinez has in offense. Cotto is going to have to dodge hard punches all night to get to Martinez.

I like Cotto. He is a good man, and I greatly admire his courage in taking on Martinez, but I have a very hard time seeing how he is going to win this.

Both guys that dropped Trout are better than anyone Sergio has faced in recent memory, including Pwill and Pavlik

This is what I keep thinking. It's one thing to try and land punches versus a guy who can't really hurt you; it's another thing to try and land punches versus a guy who can.

Oh how Maxxy will weep when he must interview Cotto after his victory. His embarrassment at his doubt of the KING will be too much.
